I fell in love with international missions on my first trip to Uganda in 2021. It was the first time I had the opportunity to meet people who had never heard the name of Jesus. Since then I have realized the importance of the command in Matthew 28:19-20 to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Without people hearing the Gospel, people cannot put their faith in Jesus. I believe that each individual who places their faith in Christ plays a vital role in the Great Commission. I love working with Akote Edeke Ministries because it is a catalyst by which the Great Commission can be carried out. Through AEM, believers in America have the opportunity to pray, give, and/or go. In Uganda, the Gospel is being spread, the Word is being given, and disciples are being made. I cannot wait to see how God continues to use AEM as a vessel.
